Macaroni

Tomato sauce

Cheese (grated)

Directions

1. Bring ¾ pot of water to boil in a medium pot.

2. Put pasta in pot to cook until slightly undercooked or still a bit firm.  Drain and set aside.

3. In a greased baking pan, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce.  Layer the macaroni on top of the sauce.

4. Sprinkle cheese and any additional sauce on top of the pasta.

5. Season with spices.

6. Place pan in a medium temperature oven for 5-10 minutes or until cheese has melted.

7. Serve hot.

 

Notes: This dish is extremely quick and simple meal to make.

 

Variations: Try adding diced tomatoes, roasted peppers, roasted mushrooms, sausage and onions all add variety to this simple dish.  Sautéing vegetables before adding to the baking pan allows for more flavors to come through.  Make it your own!
