Directions
1. Remove butter from refrigerator to soften.
2. Cream butter and sugar until well blended.
3. Add vanilla and milk. Blend well.
Notes: Make sure cake is fully cool before frosting – otherwise frosting will melt and run off.
Variations: Try adding extracts or spices (citrus juice, citrus peel, almond, cinnamon, rum, maple). For Chocolate Frosting, add â…“ cup of cocoa to this recipe.
