Directions
1. Rinse, trim and core the cabbage.
2. Grate or very thinly slice the cabbage.
3. Mix vinegar, water and sugar in a large bowl until sugar is dissolved.
4. Add cabbage to the bowl and toss until well coated. Dust with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes: This simple refreshing version of cabbage salad is most often found in the Hungarian areas of Romania. It is meant to be a bit sweet and everyone generally eats out of the serving bowl.
