Directions

1. Crush bouillon cubes and dump powder into a medium bowl.

2. Add powdered milk, cornstarch, basil, thyme, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Blend ingredients.

3. Store soup mix in container at room temp.

4. When needed, combine ⅓ c soup substitute with 1 ¼ c warm or hot water.

 

Notes: This dry soup mix can be used for quick cream soups, in casseroles or as a pasta sauce. It is handy to keep this mix in the cupboard for evenings when you need a quick meal. You may want to start with a small batch to test out the seasonings – adjust them to meet your taste. You can use any type of bullion cube, or herbs.
