1 to 2 dozen ripe apricots (or other season fruits)
vanilla
sugar
lard / oil
Directions
Peel 1 to 2 dozen ripe apricots, cut in half, pit and place on a large dish. Spinkle over with vanilla mixed with powdered sugar.
Let stand for 35 to 45 minutes. In the meantime prepare a wine paste. Soak the apricots well in the paste, then fry quickly in deep boiling lard to a lighl brown.
Remove from the pan with a pierced blade pastry spoon and allow the excess fat to run off before placing on a larp serving plate. Sprinkle with sugar mixed with vanilla.
Serve hot.
