Garlic cloves (minced)

Mustard

Lemon juice

Directions

1. Peel and press or mince the cloves of garlic and place them in a small mixing bowl.

2. Add a few drops of oil at a time and whip until it thickens. This may take a few minutes. If it does not hold together, add a quarter teaspoon of mustard (not powdered). Also, try adding a small amount of lemon juice or vinegar. Continue stirring for several minutes.

3. Salt to taste.                                   

 

Notes: If you love garlic, you'll love this! Serve with fish, fries or as a condiment.

 

Variations: Though not a traditional ingredient, for an added dimension of taste, try including some horseradish.
