Directions
1. Heat a frying pan, over a medium flame, and add enough oil to thinly coat the bottom of the pan.
2. Once the oil is hot, crack the eggs into the pan, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. Cook until golden on the bottom, then flip and cook the other side.
Notes: A true classic, fry these up for breakfast or anytime! Eggs straight from the chicken are the very best! If you like soft cooked eggs, cook eggs over a higher flame – this will keep the yolk soft while the outside turns golden. If you like hard cooked eggs – reduce the heat so the egg cooks all the way through before burning on the outside.
Variations: For a fried egg sandwich, just add a slice of cheese and hot bacon in between two slices of bread along with the friend egg. Toast the bread in the pan to melt the cheese if you’d like. Try adding a tomato slice, ham, or onions to mix up the flavors.
