White wine vinegar

Pepper

To taste


Directions

1.  Mash the garlic and salt to a paste with the side of a knife or a fork.

2.  In a medium bowl, whisk together the garlic, mayonnaise, ¼ cup buttermilk, finely chopped parsley, thinly sliced scallion, vinegar and pepper to taste.

3.  If the dressing is too thick, thin with a couple extra tablespoons more of the buttermilk. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

 

Notes: Use immediately or store covered, in the refrigerator, for up to 3 days. 

 

Substitutions: Buttermilk/Lapte bătut, sana or sour cream.
